Join US ON AN INCREDIBLE JOURNEY THROUGH LIFE

In words, imagery and motion picture, adventure, love, sorrow and happiness are mixed with African wildlife, the fascinating Maasai people and meetings with world-renowned researchers on African wildlife.

We tell the story of our remarkable fate, with both of us losing our life companions in tragic accidents in East Africa at almost the exact same time. Just a few months later, we meet in a very strange, almost predetermined way and decide to continue our lives together. A mere two weeks later, we travel to Africa together.

We also tell you about our Memorial Fund, which we set up for our late spouses; a fund with the ambition of giving more Maasai children an opportunity to get an education and proper health care. In twenty years, we have collected USD 800,000 and built two elementary schools, two high schools, a medical station, water wells and much more.

In pictures and movies, we meet the fascinating Maasai people and make an adventure-filled trip to a Maasai tribe that very rarely meets foreigners. We are greeted by almost a thousand Maasai, dressed for a grand celebration. We also meet their spiritual leader, the Laibon, who blesses us.

We talk about the threats on African wildlife, and projects that have been successful at preserving elephants, cheetahs, lions, chimpanzees and other species for generations to come. We meet with some of the world’s leading scientists on African wildlife, such as cheetah scientist Dr Laurie Marker, elephant scientist Dr Joyce Poole and chimpanzee scientist Dr Jane Goodall.

We finish off by witnessing one of nature’s greatest spectacles—”the big migration”, where huge herds of wildebeest and zebras, cross the Mara River on their annual migration between Masai Mara and Serengeti.

The lecture takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes and we have all the necessary equipment with us. All we need is a room that can be blacked out and preferably a suitable screen.
